Ladies

Over the past few days I’ve been blessed with the company of some amazing ladies.

At dinner Saturday we happened to run into our awesome friends Anne, Brad and their two kids Ben and Sadie. Anne is one of my most favoritest people ever so the fact that we got to eat together was such a great way to end the afternoon.  Ben and Kennedy love to play with each other and have encourage one another to think about eating.

Saturday night I went and spent some awesome quality time with my friend Heather, Jenn, Annie, Tiffany and Melissa.  We’re all moms.  We all live in the same city. And we go to church together.  I got there right around eight and didn’t get home until close to 11:30.  Then I got to listen to Kennedy couch up her lungs most of the night.

On Monday I spent the morning with Christina and Dana and all of our crazy kids.  I was privileged enough to spend some time in college with both of these ladies.  I was the only one who actually graduated from the university there since both of them had to go to greener pastures of UGA.  We had a great visit that included pumpkin muffins, coffee, worms and imminent death by plastic car and iron fence.

There was a time not so long ago that I felt like I was alone in many ways.  I had grown apart from many of the friends I’d had since childhood and no one seemed to understand what I was doing or where (people have a hard time getting that we live in the city and like it).  Lately, I’ve felt so loved and blessed to be surrounded by such amazing friends and women.
