Hair!
Kennedy has had a little mullet action going on for a few months now. I just couldn’t bring myself to trim it. For the most part her hair still has baby curls all over the back and bottom. I was scared that if I cut it then those curls would fall out. And they probably will when I actually cut it instead of just trimming it. I’m still not really sure what the actual texture of it will be. Honestly, she still doesn’t have enough hair to even really hold a bow (not that I don’t try).
But, today after her early bath (it’s church night, bath happens before lunch) I sat her on the bed and while she watched Toy Story I snipped that little mullet off. In reality it was one little curl that was just way longer than the rest of her hair. It was probably all of the baby hair the kid had since it’s a different texture than the rest of her hair. No one can really tell that I even did anything to it, but I’ll be honest, it made me a little sad… she’s a big girl now.
