An Open Letter
Dear Day Care Worker Who Was Escorting Children at the YMCA Pool,
I know that you have several kids that you are watching. I know that you feel like (and quite possibly) are underpaid. I know that it is a hassle waiting on a small handful of children of varying ages to shower/change to get ready. I also see that you have a group that you are re-diapering and changing. I see all of this.
But, if you ever threaten one of those children with a switch I will get your license number and report you.
If you spank your own kids, that’s fine. If you want to tell your own kids that you have a switch and you aren’t afraid to use it, that’s you’re deal. You are NOT to spank kids that do not belong to you.
I don’t care who you are.
