  This time last year we were moving into this house.  I’d used that time to purge lots and lots of stuff from our house.  But, this past week the clutter has just become unbearable.  I hit the junk drawer and laundry room yesterday.  I tossed TWO BAGS of trash just out of those areas.  

  Today while I was making the bed it hit me.  I cannot let Jason live out of the current state of his closet.  

I couldn’t do it to him anymore.  It wasn’t fair to anyone.  He couldn’t find anything and I was ashamed to keep the closet doors open.

So, I measured, researched and went off to The Container Store with a plan.

I put Kennedy down and then I attacked.  First thing I did was basically empty everything out of the closet.

Then I purged.  Anything that was a little too worn or he just didn’t wear anymore, off to Goodwill it went.  

I was then left with a little more manageable of a pile of clothing.  I separated by style, color and the like.  After living in this house for a year my husband finally had drawers for his socks, t-shirts, gym shorts, etc.  

After all of that, this is what I had.

I’ll take another picture in a month and I’ll let you know how long this lasted.
