The Beginning
Lena, our sweet neighbor, came over to see Kennedy off.
Our summer has come to a close. I’m a little startled by my own sadness about this. I was worried at the start of the summer what we would do. I’d gotten spoiled by the luxury of having a few hours each week to go and run all of those errands that are best done without my toddler. But, having her home has been awesome. She’s so sweet and watching her personality develop this summer has been a blessing.
But, like all really great things, it much come to an end. While I was a littler verklempt at not having her with me at all times, Kennedy could have cared less. She was more than ready to head back to school to play with her friends and most importantly the train table.
